This Is Skye…
Students and their siblings in the Adoption Center Club (ACC) from Stevenson Elementary in Mountain View met and learned about Skye in a Zoom session organized by PAHS and the club with special guest Isabelle Cnudde from Clorofil, one of our education partner organizations.
Isabelle rescued mama dog Skye from a dog-meat farm in South Korea, and Skye is now an integral and beloved member of Isabelle's household and the Clorofil sanctuary. Isabelle read the book written about Skye's rescue and showed photos of Skye that illustrated her progress from a frightened and traumatized dog to a family pet. Through Isabelle's description of this process, the ACC members learned about best practices to socialize rescued dogs.
