Watch Out! Cat Crossing!
Angelina R., one of our youngest cat care volunteers, drew this sign to warn people of a “cat crossing.” The cat she is concerned about is Rico, who had been hit by a car at that very corner and was then cared for through PAHS’ Animal Rescue Fund (seen at VCA Palo Alto Animal Hospital and SAGE Veterinary Centers – Redwood City, two of PAHS’ veterinary clinic partners).
Rico has fully recovered and is back at home. He has lots of cattitude, so he insists on going outside to socialize with the two local community cats who are his best buddies. We hope that he and his friends are now safer because of Angelina’s sign.
