THIS IS WHY SPAY/NEUTER MATTERS…

And why PAHS allocates so much of its animal rescue budget to making sure this happens as infrequently as possible.

Poor, thin momma cat was found in a homeless encampment with her six kittens. She has barely the strength to support herself. Luckily, a wonderful cat rescue volunteer was able to educate her “owner” and talk him into letting us at PAHS get mom and the babies sterilized (as soon as they are old enough). Without this rescue mission, they would all have continued breeding, if they survived that long.

Please help us continue to spay and neuter homeless cats and kittens by donating to the Daisy Fund at https://www.paloaltohumane.org/donate-form/. Your donations will help us expand our animal rescue budget.
