PET HELP WEDNESDAY!

Polo's owner reached out to us, very concerned that her sweet, young dog ate something he wasn't supposed to. Right before New Years, Polo had eaten something in their yard and he had to be rushed into emergency surgery. His owners were very worried that he was going to have surgery again. Luckily for Polo, the amazing team at San Jose Animal Hospital took x-rays and didn't find any blockages in his intestines. He was given some supportive medications and was on the mend! He came back to be reexamined a couple weeks later and was doing fabulous! He is now back to being the happy puppy that he was! His owners couldn't thank us enough for helping out with their special boy. #victorystory

Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education.
