Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) at Cupertino High School Partners with PAHS in Pet Food and Supplies Drive

The FBLA team was on the job Saturday, November 21, to collect and deliver community donations from San Jose and Cupertino neighbors destined for PAHS’ education shelter partner, Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority. On hand for this joint PAHS–FBLA venture was the FBLA group’s leader Michael Lee (shown above), and helping him were PAHS education advisor Patty Hurley and education manager Leonor Delgado. Lending a much-appreciated helping paw was Mulligan, Patty’s family’s dog.

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society.
