Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19)

PLEASE DON'T SURRENDER YOUR PETS!

Read this message from our board member Leigh Glerum, DVM, SAGE Veterinary Centers – Redwood City:

As of this time, there is no evidence that the COVID-19 virus can be transmitted from household pets to their human family members. There is also no current evidence that household pets can become ill from the COVID-19 virus.

It is always a good idea to practice good hygiene when interacting with your pets, particularly if you are ill or if they are ill.
