St. Timothy's Summer Camp—Wednesday, August 7

Young campers at St Timothy's Episcopal Church in Mountain View had a special treat Wednesday, August 7, when they greeted PAHS education partner Isabelle Cnudde from Clorofil, a local non-profit micro-sanctuary. Clorofil promotes awareness in the community through talks about farmed animals and the impact of animal agriculture on our planet.

These young campers enjoyed learning all about chickens and reciprocated with good questions and answers and some very nice drawings!

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society.
