Happy Ending Kitten Story!
Susan Stienstra, our long-distance social media contributor and writer, reports about a tiny 3-week old kitten found in what could have been dire circumstances, abandoned in a very rural community 90 miles from Redding, CA. The county building inspector who found her contacted Susan. Susan convinced the inspector to bring the kitten to her (she's closer to Redding), which he did.
Surprise! The baby was active, healthy, and not too hungry! And happy to be greeted with more open arms! Susan was prepared to foster the kitten, but a co-worker immediately fell in love with this baby and took her home. She's already been to the vet with for a well-baby visit.
