Girl Scout Gathering at an Extended PAHS-SVACA Kiddies 2 Kitties Program* and Shelter Visit

Local troops 60410 (Daisies), 60192 (Brownies), and 60963 (Juniors) gathered together at Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority the afternoon of Saturday, January 19 to take part in service activities. The Scouts learned about shelter operations and PAHS' efforts to help local animals, especially cats, as well as animal care. They helped socialize the shelter cats and kittens for adoption and friendly puppies. Their final activity was to make blankets for SVACA's animals as well as dog and cat rescue organizations helped by PAHS. And they had uniquely inventive survey forms for all participants to complete!

PAHS and SVACA thank Iris Clark, the Scout Leader who organized this wonderful event and brought so many enthusiastic animal-loving Scouts together.

*The kitties were happy to share their time with the puppies!
