Special Guests at Critter Club!
Lynn Brown and Wally from Our Pack, Inc., addressed two sessions of Critter Club for Beyond the Bell at Monta Loma Elementary in Mountain View this past Thursday, November 15. Wally, a Bull Terrier-Pit Bull mix is a seasoned classroom presenter and a working dog for Our Pack, testing other dogs for temperament, so important in understanding these dogs' needs and placing them in the best possible foster and adoption situations.
With Wally's help students learned how dogs let us know what they are feeling through their body language. Then, Wally joined Lynn in going through the paces of good dog training, which depends on an understanding of dog body language. For his part, Wally was thrilled to make so many new friends and help them learn more about dogs and dog behavior. And he's also modeling his new Critter Club doggie vest!
