PAHS Visits the JCC!

On Sunday, December 2, PAHS Education Manager Leonor Delgado visited the Act Fully Fellowship teen club at the Oshman Family JCC in Palo Alto. Club members learned about PAHS' long history on the mid-Peninsula and our three-pronged mission of veterinary aid, humane education, and animal advocacy. Joining us were Blu Belle with her person Dave O'Shea (left) and Lily with her person Tzachi Flat (right) with Club J. These two friendly dogs will soon be helping PAHS as animal ambassadors at a variety of educational venues.

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society.
