PAHS at Marin Shakespeare Festival!

PAHS Executive Director Carole Hyde and Education Manager Leonor Delgado had the pleasure of attending “Pericles” this past Sunday, July 22, and greeting a leading cast member, Diane “Pino” Wasnak. “Pino” plays the role of Gower the storyteller in this production.

Pino is also the star of PAHS’ Telly Award-winning humane education film, “It’s a Dog’s Day” (https://vimeo.com/111541130). She will be the headliner performer at our upcoming August 12 event “All About Dogs! And other pets too” at the Children’s Discovery Museum of San Jose. Join PAHS and the museum as we bring the world of all kinds of pet animals to young children!

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society.
