PAHS attended Superfest in Berkeley Saturday, November 4!

The 31st annual Superfest International Disability Film festival featured the short “Chief” as its first showing! Chief and his person Sonja Ohldag are one of our PAHS 2 PAWS canine-human humane education teams. They have taught numerous groups about the special bond between dogs and people and the wonderful work that service dogs do to help the disabled. We congratulate Sonja, Chief, and their team on this achievement. Here’s Chief taking a much-deserved timeout from the show.

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society.
