Love Our Earth Festival

Join us at the annual Love Our Earth Festival, hosted by the City of Atherton.

On April 22, 2023, come celebrate Earth Day at the Love Our Earth Festival, sponsored by a coalition of peninsula cities and community-based organizations including Acterra, 350 Silicon Valley, Menlo Spark, County of San Mateo, San Mateo County Libraries, Town of Atherton, City of East Palo Alto, City of Menlo Park, and City of Palo Alto.
The Love Our Earth Festival is a free event where we’ll celebrate our beautiful communities and planet while learning about a host of actions we can collectively take to address the climate crisis.
You’ll be able to learn more about everything from how to create a climate-friendly home to sustainable eating, active and electric transportation, as well as local and state climate advocacy. Exhibitors and presenters for the Love Our Earth Festival are experts in their field and will be available to answer any questions you’ve had but didn’t know where to turn for answers!
And since this is a festival, you know we’ll have entertainment! You can look forward to art projects and a variety of live animal encounters.
At this year’s event, explore:
GREEN VENDOR FAIR: local organizations and partners to educate and inspire, offer job and training opportunities, and resources to help you take climate action at home and in your community.
KID ACTIVITIES: Local museums, elementary schools, libraries, small businesses, and organizations offering crafts, story time, interactive animal exhibits, seed planting, and more.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE AND ELECTRIC BIKE SHOWCASE: A combination of dealer and owner vehicles and bicycles on display
SUSTAINABLE AND VEGAN FOOD MARKETPLACE:
Food Vendors: Vegan Hood Chefs, Casita Vegana, Nixta Foods, Annie’s T Cakes, Christine’s Cookie Co., and LL’s Kitchen
Food Startups & Companies: Hooray Foods, Ramen Z, Eclipse Foods, Spero Foods, Sundial Foods, Impact Food, and Green Wolf Foods, and The Source Zero
Chef cooking demonstrations: The Zero-Waste Chef, and Zaida Soriano
DONATION DRIVE: Goodwill will be on site picking up items to repurpose and reuse. Bring your unwanted items to limit what goes to the landfill this Earth Day!

El 22 de abril venga a celebrar el Día de la Tierra en el Festival Love Our Earth, patrocinado por una coalición de ciudades de la península y organizaciones comunitarias que incluyen 350 Silicon Valley, Menlo Spark, Ciudad de Atherton, Ciudad de East Palo Alto, Ciudad de Menlo Park, y Ciudad de Palo Alto.
