Ladie Bell – A Pet Health Story

Ladie Bell has been in Kodie’s life for two years. The two were constant companions, enjoying many peaceful moments together. One day, Kodie became concerned when she noticed that Ladie Bell wasn’t interested in eating even her favorite foods and wasn’t urinating as she usually did. Kodie was worried that her beloved bulldog mix might be suffering from a urinary tract infection (UTI).

Without the funds to get Ladie Bell proper vet care, Kodie turned to Palo Alto Humane. She’d heard from folks that PAH might be able to help. After completing an application, PAH was able to quickly approve funds so that Ladie Bell could see a vet.

Upon arriving at one of PAH’s partner veterinarians, ARK Vet Care in San Jose, the vets sedated Ladie Bell to keep her comfortable and performed a urinalysis. The results showed that the friendly bulldog mix had a UTI. The vets prescribed antibiotics and provided a few follow-up instructions to Kodie, and the pair went home together.

“I can’t tell you how grateful I am for all the help and for getting back to us so fast. I can’t thank you enough.   I can not thank you enough for all your organization has done for me and Ladie Bell. You really came through for us, no questions asked, and for that we both will forever be grateful. Thank you so much for all that you have given us!”

We’re so glad that with PAH Pet Health Assistance, Ladie Bell got the care and treatment she needed. Happily, Ladie Bell has made a full recovery and she’s back to her usual self right by Kodie’s side.
