PAH provides financial assistance for people facing unmanageable and urgent veterinary expenses. We work with our partner veterinary clinics to secure discounts so we can help as many pets as possible. We also fund spay and neuter surgeries so more families have access, which in turn reduces pet overpopulation. Learn more about our veterinary programs here.
Bringing Joy Across Our Community
Some days are harder than others, and sparking joy isn’t always easy. Visiting Pals travels across our community, from libraries and senior centers to schools and offices. With tail wags and paw shakes, our Pals deliver a fluffy dose of joy. Learn more about Visiting Pals here.
A Look at the Numbers
In 2025, Palo Alto Humane programs…
- Ensured that 350 pets and community animals received veterinary care through PAH veterinary programs.
- Spayed and neutered 191 community and companion animals, preventing the births of thousands of animals over the next year.
- Made 126 Visiting Pals visits to schools, libraries, senior centers, offices, and more … visiting a total of 595 people between the ages of 5 and 104 years old!
