Thank you for your dedication and commitment to saving animals and helping people in our community.
Due to your support, we continue our mission to inspire our community to connect humanely with animals. This year, we expanded our PAHs Pals program and community engagement efforts around the Bay Area. On average, we host five to seven PAHs Pals events monthly in spaces such as mental health centers, senior facilities, libraries, local elementary and high schools, and more.
Our visit made their day, which included a 17-year-old blind Shih Tzu, adding extra charm. The group was so thrilled that we will nowvisit their center biweekly. It was such a heartwarming celebration of companionship and joy.
Connections between people and animals, like this one, are why we are proud of our impact throughout the Bay Area.
Your gift of $50 or more can help extend PAHs Pals into more community spaces.

Your generosity in 2023 has empowered us to continue vital humane animal programs that assist community members in keeping their pets, especially during times of hardship. Our animal support programs have helped more animals in our community this year than ever before.
- Over 900 animals, nearly 300 more than in 2022
- 530 community cats and 110 family pets through spay/neuter
- Nearly 300 critical care cases through Vet Help
Our funds were able to cover the cost of her$1500 amputation procedure. She continues to need daily care due to her permanent injuries, but her lifesaving surgery allows her to have a full life ahead in a loving home.
Our community’s need for help continues to increase, and we work daily to provide the essential resources to save more lives.
With veterinary costs rising, it takes more than $250,000 each year to cover the cost of care for animals we save.
This is where we need your support.

Lumen, a resilient little cat, was recently adopted from a shelter with a broken spine, leaving her tail paralyzed and devoid of sensation. Alongside this, she battles bowel issues due to her injury. Tail amputation was recommended to prevent necrosis, pain, and infections, but her compassionate caregiver had financial strain and turned to PAH for help.
Please consider making a gift today, which will ensure that our life-saving work continues in our community. Every gift, regardless of size, makes a significant difference.
We invite you to join us in achieving our year-end goal of$100,000.
Thank You
