Troop 61753 at a Special Session of Kiddies 2 Kitties

PAHS and SVACA (Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority) welcomed the members of local Girl Scout Troop 61753 to Kiddies 2 Kiddies the afternoon of Saturday, June 3. The Scouts came prepared with very good questions about the shelter and its operations and wonderful donations of toys and food for the cats and dogs housed there. SVACA Outreach Coordinator Janet Alexander thanks the Scouts and their troop leaders for these donations, which will make the residents very happy.

Especially happy were the kittens up for adoption. They received one-on-one attention and excellent socialization that afternoon. We hope the Scouts will visit again soon.

Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education.
