Happy Valentine’s Day! We wanted to share a quick story about a beloved family pet, Coco. Coco’s femur was fractured when he was hit by a car. PAHS helped his family find an emergency vet. Along with the vet’s recommendation, PAHS helped Coco’s family understand that amputation, although it sounds scary, was the best option in his case. PAHS provided partial funding for the costly amputation surgery and helped his family apply for funding through other groups such as the Murphee Foundation. His family helped pay for Coco’s vet bills as well. This video, voiced by the mom, succinctly sums up their love for Coco and how happy they are he’s well!
“Look, this is Coco. He’s totally fine. I want to say thank you for all the help you gave us. This is my daughter Victoria. As you can see, Coco is happy and he is totally good. Thank you very much.”
With your help, PAHS makes possible #110Stories like Coco’s and so many others. Please consider donating to our veterinary help programs this Valentine’s Day.
