All About Rescue and Pets at Emerson School, Palo Alto—April 19
New dog recruit Kermit, a rescued Greyhound, joined old hand Minnie, our office therapy dog, at Emerson School to teach the students all about rescue and best practices in pet care. PAHS people present included: Kermit's person Julie Forbes, Ph.D., Patty Hurley, Arlene Esquivias, and Leonor Delgado.
The Emerson students presented PAHS with a magnificent array of donations including pet items, $472 representing earnings from student business projects and a bake sale, and 10 lb of savings in coins from one very generous cat-loving student! Thank you so much!
