IT’S ALL ABOUT POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT!

The Adoption Center Club (ACC) from Stevenson Elementary in Mountain View held its final Zoom meeting for this year. The special guest presenter was Diane Wasnak, aka Pino from Bonzer Productions, who spoke about training and care for pet rats and performance dogs. Key concept—positive reinforcement!

Club members were treated to the PAHS video Tildie’s Rat Mansion and IIt’s a Dog’s Day! As a special treat, they got to meet in person (well, on the Zoom screen) Cooey, one of the canine stars of It’s a Dog’s Day!

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society.
