INTRODUCING “ENDANGERED MAMMALS OF INDIA,” THE FIRST INSTALLMENT IN “STUDENT SPECIAL REPORTS,” A NEW PAHS EDUCATION PROGRAM!

Get acquainted with the endangered mammals of India, our first installment in this new program. “Endangered Mammals of India” was written by 9-year old Keshav Ravi, a 4th-grade student at Lucille M. Nixon Elementary
in Palo Alto. Keshav’s beautifully illustrated book introduces us to a wide variety of fascinating animals whose time with us might be limited, if we don’t take action now. Click Here to read Keshav’s report.

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society.
