Pet Help Wednesday!

Meet Wizzy, an 8-year-old German Shepard adored by his family who adopted him when he was a little puppy. Recently, Wizzy hasn’t been feeling well so his family took him to the vet. Sadly, they discovered a large mass on his rectum that was causing his discomfort. Due to the pandemic, the family is under financial distress and could not afford the necessary surgery for Wizzy. Fortunately, they contacted us at PAHS and we teamed up with Pets in Need to pay over $1K for his surgery at Altaview Hospital in Palo Alto. We are extremely pleased to report that the surgery was successful and now Wizzy is a happy dog again and his family is forever grateful.

Thanks to generous donations, PAHS is able to help dogs like Wizzy and so many other pets.
