Palo Alto Humane Society was part of this rescue effort, and we thank the Simpsons and the Professors Hoxby for all they did to make these cats’ recovery and adoption possible. 😻

Here’s a happy story for the holidays.
A few months ago we rescued a cat with broken hips (now named Biscuit). He is the white one and got him surgery and found a foster. Later we reunited Biscuit with his sister Breadloaf (orange cat).

And for the good news: last week they were listed on a pet adoption site for permanent adoption as a duo. Within hours we had 4 great applications and we are happy to report that Biscuit and Breadloaf are being adopted permanently.
This is truly a Christmas miracle. Just a few months ago these beauties were living outdoors on the street relying on humans. When we found one severely injured we rallied to help save him and then were not only able to reunite his sister but find a permanent loving home.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of Palo Alto Humane Society and the Hoxby’s who fostered and helped Biscuit recover and took him in for months. We were glad to see them one last time at their foster before being permanently adopted.
