Martin Luther King Day of Service, January 20

Visitors stopped by the PAHS booth to visit with Arlene Esquivias and Leonor Delgado and learn about our veterinary, community outreach, and education programs. Minnie, our office therapy dog, however, was most definitely the main attraction!

We thank Youth Community Service of Palo Alto and East Palo Alto, the City of Palo Alto – Public Agency, the City of East Palo Alto, and Mitchell Park Community Center for including us in the day's events.

PAHS Staff

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society.
