HELP SHELTER PETS NOW!
CA Senate Bill 1347 is up for an Assembly vote Monday, August 10.
If passed, this bill will increase the ability to save lives in under-resourced shelters that can’t afford or can’t find a licensed full-time veterinarian by allowing those shelters to have trained workers vaccinate pets according to veterinary protocols. It will also allow these workers to administer nonprescription medications against ticks, fleas, and worms.
