PAHS Visits Local High School Service Fairs

The PAHS contingent at Youth Community Service-sponsored service fairs held at Palo Alto High School (Wednesday, November 6) and Gunn High School (Friday, November 6), consisted of Minnie, our office therapy dog and companion in community outreach events, Arlene Esquivias, Social Media Manager, and Leonor Delgado, Education and Community Outreach Manager.

Visiting students expressed interest in the pet food drive PAHS is co-sponsoring with LifeMoves and our cat and kitten socialization program, Kiddies 2 Kitties, offered in partnership with Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority.

Minnie is our favorite ambassador at all of our outreach events! She's a great crowd pleaser and attention getter!

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society.
