PAHS Introduces New Middle School Program, "Animal Appreciation"
Developed by PAHS Education Advisor Patty Hurley, "Animal Appreciation" asks middle school students to challenge commonly held concepts about animal behavior and the human–animal connection through fact-finding, questioning, and debate.
Our first session was held on October 31 at a meeting of the Animal Advocacy Club of the International School of the Peninsula Middle School. Club members shared interesting facts about animals and contributed to a discussion comparing human emotions to those of animals.
