Minnie and Lilly Team Up to Close Critter Club!

Thursday, February 7: The final sessions of Critter Club at Beyond the Bell at Theuerkauf Elementary in Mountain View featured our two therapy dog rising stars, Minnie and Lilly. Minnie is a seasoned therapy dog, having worked with children in cancer treatment hospitals, and Lilly is a puppy in training who is helping her person's mother through a health issue. Both dogs were wonderful with all the students! The PAHS team from left to right: Patty Hurley, Arlene Esquivias with Minnie, Leonor Delgado, and Tzachi Flat with Lilly.

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education. For a century, our mission has been to alleviate the suffering of animals, increase public sensitivity to animal issues, and elevate the status of animals in our society.
