Watch the Movie About Chief That Our Students Saw!

On Saturday, November 16, students attending the service project session for Palo Alto Humane Society at the Youth Community Service-sponsored day of service at East Palo Alto Academy saw an award-winning short about Chief, one of our canine ambassadors. Chief and his person, Sonja Ohldag, were unable to join us, but everyone learned what a very special boy Chiefie is and how he aids Sonja in training other service dogs.

The Palo Alto Humane Society is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, charitable, volunteer-supported organization. PAHS is one of the few humane societies nationwide with no animal shelter. Instead of managing animals inside a shelter, we work to keep animals out of the shelter through humane programs in intervention, advocacy, and education.
