Aubrey Makes Her Education Debut!

Thursday, November 21—Aubrey, a Yorkie puppy belonging to Beyond the Bell manager Perla Galeno, was the star of our presentations at Beyond the Bell at Mariano Castro Elementary in Mountain View. Students from grades 2 through 5 learned all about Aubrey, the special care she receives as she trains to be a therapy dog, and her likes and dislikes. Aubrey was so excited to meet and greet everyone!

For the first time, our PAHS therapy dog Minnie had to take second place (luckily, she wasn't there "in person" to concede), while students learned about dogs' needs and how to care for them through our video "Advice from Minnie" (you can watch this charming video at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XizXH77pLo).
