Animal Advocacy Club at the Middle School, International School of the Peninsula

Thursday, December 5, marked the final session of PAHS' new middle school program, "Animal Appreciation," at the International School of the Peninsula. This program, developed by PAHS education advisor Patty Hurley, builds on critical thinking skills, incorporates interesting information about animals—both wild and companion—and culminates in a team-based debate.

Special guests from Canine Companions for Independence attended, offering the club members insights into training and tasks performed by mobility assist dogs.
