Tortie: A Lucky, Looked-After Stray

PAHS Board President David Rutan shares his story for our #110Stories: “Working with PAHS for so many years has opened my eyes to the stray cat population. My wife and I have been feeding and caring for a stray backyard cat we’ve named Tortie. She is skittish, possibly because of abuse in her past, and was thin as a rail before, but is warming up to us both as we feed and care for her. Thanks to our intervention, now she is healthy. Without my involvement with PAHS and my focus on stray cats, it’s likely I wouldn’t have noticed her.”[fb_vid id=”10155697581929527”]
