PAHS and Rocket Dog Rescue at Monta Loma Elementary’s VIP Reading Day, Friday, March 16, in Mountain View
PAHS and Rocket Dog volunteer Joanne M David, who accompanied Education Manager Leonor Delgado, read Honey Boy, a book published by Rocket Dog Rescue to a third-grade class. Honey Boy was written by Joanne’s sister Jill David about the sisters’ experience in fostering a wonderful dog named, yes, Honey Boy. The students were thrilled to meet the author’s sister and peppered her with questions about Honey Boy. Honey Boy has since passed on, but his rescue story will live on in the minds of everyone who has read the book.
