Critter Club on Tuesday, March 27: A pack of service dogs and their people visited a third-grade class at Costano Elementary. Sonja Ohldag came with her service companion Chief – a Service Dog, and Colt Rosensweig brought her retired dog Juno and her working dog Kaline. Sonja and Colt are trainers, and with their dogs, they showed the students what mobility assistance and seizure service dogs do on a daily basis. The students also viewed the award-winning short film “Chief,” which details how service dogs are trained and what they do, with a special emphasis, of course, on Chief (the little terrier mix).
