Rin and her person Chris accompanied PAHS at a visit to Palo Alto Oshman Family JCC (https://paloaltojcc.org/) on Thursday, December 13, for a discussion about dog rescue and caring for dogs with a group of kindergartners through second graders at the Club J after-school program. Rin was rescued as a puppy in Mongolia when Chris was there as a Peace Corps volunteer. The young audience learned about Rin’s and Chris’ life in Mongolia. Rin was very pleased to meet so many enthusiastic children! We also showed PAHS’ animated Telly Award-winning short film “It’s a Dog’s Day” (https://vimeo.com/111541130).
