About Woobie…
Woobie (formerly known as Madison) is a 12-year-old cat that has lived with me for the past 9 years. I rescued her from the Humane Society. I am looking for a new home for her because I am relocating for a job in Nigeria at the beginning of July. Woobie does not travel short distances well, so she would not do well with this extensive journey. Some of her likes are: wet/canned food, sleeping, gentle pets, being an only kitty, and ideally, access to indoors and outdoors as she pleases (such as having a cat flap), scratching post, kitty toys Some of her charming qualities are: She makes cute noises when sleeping and often responds when I talk to her (vocal), she is soft and cute, she gives kisses and “grooms” me if I pet her while she grooms herself, she tolerates dogs, but does not like other cats Some of her quirks are: Being very vocal when she wants something (food, to go outside/inside, before using the litter box), not getting along with other cats. She has been diagnosed with treatable yet chronic kidney disease. I’m looking for a loving home to care for her for the remainder of her life. I’m envisioning a senior who likes caretaking and is patient and empathetic. I will pay for her medical needs. She is up-to-date on all of her vaccinations. This was not an easy choice, and I know it is for the best for both of us. I am very sad to say goodbye to her and am looking for a loving new home where she will be well-cared for and happy.”
