In solidarity with humane societies in the fire-ravaged areas of Northern California, the Palo Alto Humane Society (PAHS) has donated $1,000 to Sonoma County Animal Control and Sonoma Humane Society. Countless animals have sustained burns and suffer from smoke inhalation and require emergency medical care. Many animals have been separated from their people and are in the care of a shelter. As part of the our initiative, Creating Compassionate Communities, PAHS strives to alleviate the suffering of animals through our advocacy, intervention, and education programs.

You can help PAHS to promote humane awareness directly through your donations at our website and by attending our upcoming fundraiser, Daisy’s Day, on October 22, 2017 at 2 PM at Vina Enoteca in Palo Alto. Reservations required. Tickets and information: www.paloaltohumane.org.
