Calling on our friends to help… please don’t let these babies die!

Yesterday was a very difficult day. We were not able to find rescue/fosters for 11 kittens and they did not make it out of the shelter. We are all extremely saddened about this.
Kittens are still coming in. Right now the shelter is managing over 500 cats and kittens. They are 100% full in feline kennels. Some at the shelter have said this is the worst kitten season they have seen in over a decade.

What does that mean? It means, if you are reading this, the kittens need you! Their lives are literally depending on you. Please don’t assume someone else will take them. Fostering can be just a couple weeks up to a couple months, depending on the age of the kittens. Most rescues are full at this point in the season. However, 13th Street Cat Rescue, SVPP and Four Paws to Love are three rescues taking new fosters.
Please contact us for more details or if you have questions and to help link you with a rescue group.
Thank you!
