National Day of Service

Join PAHS to create canvas art that will tell the stories of adopted shelter animals. Meet at the Oshman Family JCC to create your animal portrait. We are thankful for the wonderful photos of Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority (SVACA) animals adopted during the pandemic that will be our inspiration! Community Service Hours: Up to 4 hours (depending on length of stay, must sign in and sign out at the event.)

About the event:
Join hundreds of volunteers on Sunday, Sept 11 for the National Day of Service and make a difference in your community! Youth Community Service (YCS) invites you to the Mid-Peninsula National Day of Service: “Showing Up For Our Community” (service opportunities at various locations in East Palo Alto and Palo Alto throughout the day). 15 service sites and 8 at-home service projects to support local partner organizations. Open to all ages and abilities. Please check site descriptions for specific restrictions. Community Service hours are available for youth!
