PAHS Has Received Two Centennial Year Estate Gifts

The Palo Alto Humane Society is pleased to announce that it has received two Centennial Year estate gifts. Marcella L. Burris has left $1.7 million and Stephanie Wood-Smith has left $800,000 to PAHS. With these gifts the Palo Alto Humane Society has established an endowment for the future of the organization and its work for animals, and for funding programs in education and advocacy, in accordance with the PAHS mission. The Palo Alto Humane Society is deeply grateful for the generosity of the late Marcella L. Burris and Stephanie Wood-Smith, for the care they showed for animals, and the regard they held for the work of the Palo Alto Humane Society.
