Animals Everywhere™
Classroom education for the young
The educational program of the Palo Alto Humane Society is based on a simple philosophy, embraced with a new enthusiasm in light of so many recent studies confirming the long-held belief
…that people - children in particular - have a natural affinity for animals and a natural curiosity that must be consistently nurtured and celebrated if it is to be translated into positive relationships and positive actions in the world. Take me to EweTube for some words about this.
This philosophy guides a variety of program options tailored to individual school communities' needs, always mindful that reiteration is the key to building habits of the mind, habits of action, and habits of the heart. Our education program is committed to bringing activities, up-to-the-minute information, and opportunities to learn in the company of animals to school communities throughout the mid-Peninsula.
“Animals Everywhere” is a program of classroom presentations for children ages 3 through 6 years of age that focus on getting acquainted with animals, responsible pet care, and living with pets.
