Why donate to PAHS?
There are countless reasons to give to our organization.
Because of you, animals are encountering acts of loving kindness every day. PAHS not only saves lives and prevents suffering through the funding of vital veterinary assistance and spay/neuter programs, but PAHS also informs the public and gives a voice for the humane treatment of animals through our award winning education program and many advocacy campaigns.
- PAHS is 100 years old with a proven record of creating programs to meet new and changing community needs.
- PAHS is a non-profit organization that receives no tax dollars.
- PAHS is not a shelter and therefore focuses on life-saving programs that keep animals from being cast aside and abandoned on the street or in a shelter.
- PAHS has life-giving programs in animal rescue through our non-shelter corps of volunteers, spay/neuter subsidies for homeless animals and animals belonging to low-income people, veterinary assistance programs for low-income pet owners and rescue volunteers.
- PAHS operates the largest charitable spay/neuter assistance program in the Peninsula, saving thousands of animals each year from a difficult life on the street or in the shelter.
